Anna M. Ficeto

Anna M. Ficeto is a judge for the Hartford District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] She was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Dan Malloy on January 19, 2012.[2] She was confirmed by the Senate in February 2012. Her current term expires in 2020.[3]
Education
Ficeto received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.[4]
Career
Ficeto is a former Director of the state's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. She has also served as Chief Legal Counsel to former Gov. M. Jodi Rell and has worked in the departments of Consumer Protection, Public Works and Administrative Services. Prior to that, Judge Ficeto practiced with the law firm of Jackson, O'Keefe & Phelan.[4] She currently presides over criminal cases at the Superior Court in Hartford.[5]
