Primary: She was defeated in the Democratic primary on August 12, 2014, receiving 32 percent of the vote. She competed against Andrea Truppa.

Career
Zubkova is an attorney in private practice under Anna Zubkova, Attorney at Law. She started her career as a temporary assistant clerk for the Connecticut Judicial Branch.[4]
