Anne Earhart is an heiress, philanthropist and Democratic political donor based in Laguna Beach, California. Earhart inherited her wealth from the Getty family oil fortune and founded the Marisla Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation that aims to support environmental causes as well as health and human services organizations.[1][2]
Career
Anne Earhart's grandfather, Jean Paul Getty, amassed a fortune in the oil industry during the mid-20th century. As an heiress to the Getty family fortune, Earhart has applied her wealth to philanthropic outreach centered on the protection of marine habitats and environmental causes. Earhart founded the Marisla Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation that aims to support environmental protection efforts as well as health and human services organizations.[1][2][3]
In addition to her philanthropic engagement, Earhart has donated to a number of Democratic political committees, candidates, organizations and ballot measure campaigns.
