Kaiser's professional experience includes working as an Economist and Policy Analyst with the United States Treasury Department, Policy Analyst with the Maryland Department of Education, teaching assistant at the University of Michigan, legislative assistant to Delegate Henry B. Heller, and staff assistant to United States Representative Neal Smith.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbents Anne R. Kaiser, Eric Luedtke and Craig J. Zucker defeated Valerie A. Nia Shell in the Democratic primary, while Patricia Fenati, Michael A. Ostroff and Sharon Trexler Begosh were unopposed in the Republican primary. Kaiser, Luedtke and Zucker defeated Fenati, Ostroff and Begosh for three seats in the general election. Nia Shell ran as a write-in candidate in the general election.[1][2][3]

Kaiser won re-election, coming in first in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]

On November 7, 2006, Anne Kaiser ran for District 14 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the first of three seats, beating Karen Montgomery, Herman Taylor, II, John McKinnis, John Austin, and Jim Goldberg .[5]
