Hollis ran for election to the Parker County Justice Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 32.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Jerry L. Hataway, Greg Martin and Dusty Vinson.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, Hollis faced Vinson in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. She was defeated, earning 40 percent of the votes cast.
