Anne Shaw
Anne Shaw (Democratic Party) ran for election for the 6th Subcircuit judge of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 17, 2020.
Biography
Anne Shaw lives in Chicago, Illinois. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from DePaul University in 1992 and her J.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago Kent College of Law in 1995. Shaw's career experience includes working as a senior associate at the Law Offices of Robert Orman and as a principal at Shaw Legal Services. In 2011, she founded the first pro-bono legal clinic in Chicago’s Chinatown to serve local residents and immigrants in Chicago and the surrounding area.[1]

2015
The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[2] In the general election for Ward 1, incumbent Joe Moreno defeated Anne Shaw, Andrew Hamilton and Ronda Locke.[3][4] Mia Lena Lopez was removed from the ballot in December 2014.[5]
