Two of the seven seats on the Northwest Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on May 7, 2016. Place 4 incumbent Judy Copp and Place 5 incumbent Anne Davis-Simpson were the only candidates to file, leading the district to cancel the election.[1]
