Taylor was running in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 39. Taylor was running against incumbent Alisha Thomas Morgan in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
While Taylor initially filed to run, she failed to appear on the ballot.[2]
