Randle-Trejo works as an instructional assistant and behavior interventionist at the Anaheim City School District. She is also a professional singer. Randle-Trejo has been active on the PTA, served on a number of school site councils and was a co-chair on the Measure Z Committee. She is also a member of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and the Buena Park Youth Theater Commission Board. Randle-Trejo's two children attended school in the Anaheim Union High School District.[1]

Three seats on the Anaheim Union High School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 4, 2014. In the Trustee Area 1 race, incumbent Al Jabbar faced challengers Maureen Christensen and Linda Lobatos and won re-election. The Trustee Area 2 race featured incumbent Annemarie Randle-Trejo and challengers Eleazar Elizondo, Thomas "Hoagy" Holguin and Roberto "Robert" Baeza. Randle-Trejo defeated her challengers and won re-election to the board. Anna L. Piercy, incumbent from Trustee Area 5, ran unopposed and won re-election by default.

This was the first time board members were elected by trustee area. Prior to 2014, the Anaheim Union High School District elected its members in at-large elections.

The Orange County Registrar of Voters does not publish and freely disclose school board candidate campaign finance reports that were filed by paper in their office. I am an experienced Board member who you elected to advocate for the best education policies so our students are college and career ready.

I've kept my promise to maintain a safe learning environment, to be a voice for parents, community, and staff, and to bring the insight of my 19-year career in the classroom as a behavior interventionist with the Anaheim City School District to the Boardroom.
As your leader, I have brought accountability to our District and maintain my advocacy for 21st century skills. Our students are learning with rigor and purpose.
My children are products of AUHSD and my 2014 graduate bonds me to your families.
Having been an O.C. resident for 47 years and a homeowner in Anaheim for 25 years demonstrates I know this community.
My role as a board member of the YMCA, Greater Anaheim Special Education Local Plan Area, Kennedy Performing Arts Center Foundation, and AUHSD Foundation, in addition to my service as a liaison to the city of Anaheim, further strengthens relationships and vital services for students.
AUHSD's teachers support me. They know I will remain vigilant for our studetns. Please re-elect a trustee who truly represents the entire school community.[5]
