Biography
Scippio obtained a B.A. in business administration from Howard University and an M.A. in liberal studies from Duke University. At the time of her appointment to the city council, Scippio's professional experience included working as a research manager for several different groups, as a founding director of the Southern Community Bank, and as the executive director of Delta Fine Arts.[1]
