Annie Claesson-Huseby is a judge on the Ninth Judicial District in Minnesota. She was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton (D) on August 25, 2017, to a newly created judgeship. The new position was created by the Minnesota Supreme Court due to the district's heavy caseload.[1]
Biography
Claesson-Huseby received a bachelor's, master's and law degree from the University of North Dakota. Prior to joining the district court, shewas the Beltrami County district attorney, a position she was elected to in 2014. She worked at the county district attorney's office for ten years before her 2014 election.[1]
