Anthony Bernal is a former deputy campaign manager for the Joe Biden presidential campaign. Biden announced on November 17, 2020, that Bernal would hold a senior role in his White House as a senior advisor to Jill Biden. Bernal also worked in the Clinton and Obama administrations.[1]

Biography

Bernal attended the University of Texas at El Paso. He worked as the deputy director of scheduling for Vice President Al Gore (D) during the Clinton administration. Over the following eight years, Bernal worked at the Coca-Cola Company, AARP, the Democratic National Convention Committee, and the ALS Therapy Development Foundation.[1][2]

From 2009 to 2017, Bernal worked in the Obama administration in various roles, including as the director of scheduling and trip director for Jill Biden. He continued on as her chief of staff from 2017 to 2019. Bernal was also a deputy campaign manager on the Biden presidential campaign.[1]
