Anthony Giordano was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 15 of the New Jersey General Assembly.

He was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 15 of the New Jersey General Assembly.[1]

Biography

Giordano earned his B.S. in accounting from Rider University in 1998. His professional experience includes working as an auditor for the NJ Department of Community Affairs.[2]

Elections for the New Jersey General Assembly took place in 2015. A primary election was held on June 2, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 30, 2015.[3] Since the general assembly uses multi-member districts, the top two candidates from each party in the primaries will advance to the general election. Incumbent Reed Gusciora and incumbent Elizabeth Maher Muoio were bracketed together and faced Dan Toto in the Democratic primary. Peter Mendonez and Anthony Giordano were bracketed together and were unopposed in the Republican primary. Gusciora and Maher Muoio defeated Mendonez and Giordano in the general election.[4][5][6][7][8]

Giordano ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 15. Giordano was bracketed with Kim Taylor. He was unopposed in the June 4 Republican primary. He was defeated by incumbent Reed Gusciora (D) and incumbent Bonnie Watson Coleman (D) in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[9][10][11][12]
