My name is Anthony Hudson, I am running for U.S. Congress in Michigan's district 8 as a republican candidate. It's time that a blue collar hard working, small business owner and family man such as myself stands up and fight the tyranny and corruption in Washington. I represent the people, I am FROM the people and FOR the people. I will not stop until the American people are a priority in this country . It's time to close our borders, no more overseas wasteful spending, time to bring our military home and no more depending on other countries for OUR way of life. Now's the time for America to be INDEPENDENT and FREE!
  • We must close our borders and bring our military home to protect our country from the inside out. The issues at the border are real and the consequences for an open border are the result in many Americans losing their lives. The drugs, the human trafficking, the weapons and the Cartels must be stopped! A country without borders is not a country and now we must to everything we can to stabilize our borders and then focus on deporting all that have come here illegally and do not belong here.
  • Second Amendment shall not be infringed upon. I will work hard to refute the red flag laws in Michigan and fight to protect the right to bear arms for all Michiganders who own or want to own firearms. We will promote for firearm training and safety but will never infringe on your rights. I also wanna fight for universal carry laws in all 50 states to be exactly the same from state to state. Your second amendment rights do not end at your state line and should be recognized by every state in the union.
  • I will fight to stop the $127 million investment into electric school busses for the state of Michigan. Electric busses and Michigan winters do not go hand in hand. Our kids miss enough school due to inclement weather and snowy conditions, we do not need them to miss more when the busses won't start. It's also been said that these busses will go about 78 miles on a full charge and when you have rural routes that are more than 78 miles then are we going to have to reduce the size of the routes and add more busses to cover this distance? What about the expense of the charging ports and whether or not they are actually charge the busses in the cold weather? No we can not afford to take that risk.
I am personally passionate about holding our governor accountable for an accurate budget that will fix the infrastructure of Michigans roads, bridges and highways while also finding ways to promote new businesses here at home. We need to bring new business to Michigan and help small business to grow and expand without restrictions. Lift the restrictions on our trucking, farming and fishing industries and promote more success to these industries. Also, I'd like to work with other congressmen to regulate, AI, Big Pharma and Big Tech. We the people shall be FREE and never silenced or regulated by our government.
My grandfather was the man I looked up to. He was a WWII decorated hero and he was the exact definition of a man. He loved my grandmother, his kids and his grandkids. He really stepped in when my father wasn't around. I have his military flag from when he died and it is up on the wall where I can proudly see it and remember what he did for this country.
No there is not, because it is my belief that government is not working for the people the way it's currently operating. I want to be the next book on how an elected official should do his or her job. I want to be the change that this state and this nation needs and deserves.
This is a simple one. An elected official needs to be honest and have integrity. Be available to his or her constituents, answer the phone, return calls, show up at events and be supportive of the communities within the district and be available to the people.
Leadership, accountability, honesty, loyalty and the willingness to go outside the box to do the right thing.
To adequately support and represent the people of the district as well as ALL Americans. Work for the people, interact with the people and make sure they know that you WILL GET THE JOB DONE!
I would like people to remember me for my work ethic and my passion for making the United States a better place to live, raise your kids and retire without fear.
Long John Silver in Waco Texas. I had that job for about 2 years.
I am not going to share this one, but I will leave a hint. It may or may not have been a raunchy love story
The invisible man, because I'd wanna be listening to what people are really talking about behind closed doors. That's when the real truth is told, like who killed Kennedy?
This is an ancient old question, ask me after my first term when I win as an incumbent.
NO! Politics with all these men and women with experience are not getting the job done because they are not focused on the task at hand. We must try something different with men and women who are dedicated and loyal to serving this country. Not men and women looking to get rich and promote their own selfish agendas.
Our greatest challenge over the next decade will be fixing and repairing the damage from the Biden administration. The economy will take some time to fix, the border will take time to close and secure and bringing our military home will also take some time to accomplish. But America First can start RIGHT NOW!
NO! I believe if there's a term limit for representatives then it should be 4 years minimum same as the president of the United States.
I support term limits of 8 years to a max of 12. Why is it that the president can only serve a max of 8 years, but elsewhere officials can serve a lifetime in office. I believe term limits would also cut down on the corruption in Washington and would help keep our elected officials a little more focused on what it is they are suppose to be doing.
No! I want to stay loyal to who I am and be the best version of myself. I want them to wanna model themselves after me based on the loyalty and work ethic that I provide to Michiganders and the America people.
Not to this point in time because I am just now getting myself out there in front of the people. I am sure that I will hear many stories and situations and I will come back and share in time.
I'll pass on this one
In most cases YES! I feel as though we have lost the ability to compromise and that's an essential part of communication and getting work done. But I will not compromise when it comes to we the people and their freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I will make sure that the bills I write or vote for will be beneficial to the people of Michigan and the people of this country. I will not support any bill that is going to hold Americans back from being as successful as they wanna be. I will work for the people and will do everything I can to make a positive difference in their lives. I know the struggles and the challenges they face because I face the exact same one. We the people will fix this job and we will do it by communicating and listening to the people of this country.
Honestly, they should use those powers to investigate themselves and hold themselves accountable for all of their wrongdoings. We have law enforcement to monitor and watch the citizens to make sure they are following the laws. We don't need the government weaponized and coming after the American people. Let us be FREE!
I have endorsed Donald Trump for President
Right now I am just focused on winning my district and getting into congress so that I can start making changes that will give the people of my district comfort in knowing that I am helping them to have a better quality of life and that someone is fighting for them. Committees will come after I begin the work.
I feel that since the government works for the people, that the government ought to inform us of where our money is going. I want to see governmental audits showing accountability for every single penny that the government is spending. It's our money and we have a right to know. The government should be held accountable.
