Anthony J. Marotta

Anthony J. Marotta is a juvenile court associate justice for the Worcester Juvenile Court in Worcester County, Massachusetts. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on October 7, 2011, to replace retired Associate Justice Luis G. Perez. The appointment was approved by the Governor's Council on October 26, 2011.[1][2] Marotta may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]
Education
Marotta received his bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State University in 1981, his MBA from Clark University in 1986, and his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1989.[1]
Career
Marotta ran a civil and criminal law practice in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, for 12 years. He then became a prosecutor in 2001 and served as a Worcester assistant district attorney until his judicial appointment in 2011.[1]
