|Anthony was born and raised in Southern California by his two parents alongside his triplet siblings. From a young age his parents emphasized the importance of Christian values and family life and it is something he carries with him to this day.
LaBruna left California to attend Iowa State University where he fell in love with the state and their American values. As a cyclone, Anthony led the College Republicans as vice chairman of the executive board. During college, Anthony worked in the 4th congressional district office connecting with farmers, veterans, and everyday Iowans to ensure constituents had access to government officials. He is an advocate and resource for Northwest Iowans looking to navigate the complicated federal government. Anthony also clerked in the Iowa State legislature focusing on safeguarding First Amendment rights, easing regulations on farmers and small businesses, and various public safety initiatives. In 2020 Anthony was appointed by President Donald Trump to White House Liaison to the United States Department of Commerce under Secretary Wilbur Ross. After serving in the White House Anthony returned to Iowa to work for Senator Chuck Grassley.- Pro Life The sanctity of life is one of the most important issues we face today. We must fight for the right to life for all unborn children. It is imperative that we are a voice for voiceless. I'm a firm believer we cannot rest until all unborn children are protected.
- Education I'm a candidate who supports home, private, and public education. The current system fails our students, it fails our teachers, and it fails our communities. We need to start putting students first and give power back to the parents. I plan to stand-up for school choice, which will make parents the decision-makers in their child's educational development as it should be.
- 2nd Amendment Our right to bear arms and protect our families and loved ones is an unquestionable right. I'll oppose legislation such as gun registration, limitation on ammunition, and gun parts. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
My religious faith tells me that all life is God-given, sacred, and precious. I’ll be a staunch defender of our innocent and voiceless unborn and I won’t rest until every child in Iowa, unborn and born, is safe, secure, and protected.
