Biography
Anthony Palmer was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He obtained an undergraduate degree from the City College of New York in January 1981. He worked as a police officer for 30 years, retiring as a sergeant in 2015. Palmer attended and graduated from the West Point Leadership Program in 2010. As of 2022, he was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Clark County Republican Central Committee, and the Nevada Republican Party. He was previously affiliated with the Police Benevolent Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the AARP.[1][2]

|In 1985, I joined the Virginia Beach, Va. Police Department, where I remained working for 30 years, retiring in 2015 as a Sergeant. In those 30 years on the Police force, I was a Field Training Officer, taught in the Academy as a State Certified Instructor, on the Mobile Tactics Squad, and graduated from West Point Leadership.Upon my retirement in 2015, I moved to Clark County, Nevada where I became immersed in politics. I currently am a Trustee for the Clark County Republican Central Committee, a Nevada State Republican Delegate, and the Chairman of the Law Enforcement Loyalty PAC.
- Public Safety- mandatory jail for major offences/ higher pay for State Police/ Citizen rights for firearms
- No new taxes/ reduce certain taxes
- Fund School Choice/ Charter Schools

|District 7. I am married, and live in Las Vegas. I have 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department as a Sergeant in 2015, with 30 years service.
Having lived in Nevada for the past 5 years, and seeing laws that favored criminals instead of law abiding tax payers, anti-2nd Amendment laws and pro abortion laws are in the works that would violate the Constitutional rights of both the citizens, and the yet to be born, among other anti citizen legislation either instituted or being proposed, I decided to take a stand, and run for the General Assembly.
When I am elected, I pledge to try my best to make positive changes
for the citizens of Nevada.- Issue #1- Taxes. In the past, the state has collected more taxes than needed. As they raised taxes, they included m

back the tax hikes and cut the unnecessary government waste.
b) We are required to report annual mileage on vehicles. This will
result in another new tax in the future.
c) Talk is that the Democrats will attempt to start a State Income Tax. NEVER!
Number 2- Right to life:
To get a bill passed, I would agree to the following:
a) heartbeat bill- once heartbeat detected- approx 6 weeks, no
abortion is allowed.
b) the doctor must have admission rights to hospital
c) mandated counseling 24 hours before abortion
Number 3: Our 2nd Amendment rights- we must protect a citizen's
constitutional rights for firearms
Number 4- Education Reform
a) School Choice- this means you can change schools as desired. You-
the parent- can determine the best school for your child
b) Fund ESA's- Education Savings Accounts- so you- the parent, can
choose private schools/ home schooling for your children
Number 5- Public Safety- I am a retired Police Sergeant having served
on the VBPD for 30 years.
a) no Sanctuary Cities- so many public safety/ officer safety issues
that they cannot be allowed
Number 6- Veterans Rights- helping homelessness veterans by having
State Advocate to assist with applying at VA for full benefits.
