Anthony Petruccelli
Anthony W. Petruccelli is a former Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate, representing the First Suffolk and Middlesex district from 2006 to January 21, 2016. He resigned to work at a lobbying firm in Boston.[1][2] In the 2015 session, Petruccelli served as Majority Whip.
Petruccelli served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1999 to 2007, first being elected in a special election.
Biography
Petruccelli attended the University of Rochester.[3]

Elections for the Massachusetts State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on September 9, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Anthony Petruccelli was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election.[4]
2012
Petrucelli won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate First Suffolk and Middlesex District. Petrucelli was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and defeated Thomas J. Dooley, III (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
2010
Petruccelli won re-election to the First Suffolk and Middlesex District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Frank Addivinola, Jr. ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008
On November 4, 2008, Petruccelli won re-election in the Senate election for the First Suffolk and Middlesex district.[7] In this election he raised $282,268; of that total $266,103 (94.2%) was from in state contributions and $7,100 (2.5%) was from out of state contributions.[8]
