I have lived in the High Desert for 22 years and am passionate about serving this area. Born in Pomona, I grew up in a single parent household in an impoverished area of Ontario before moving to Hesperia. I graduated from Hesperia High School then attended UC Riverside to acquire a B.A. in Political Science. My desire for higher education compelled me to pursue a Master's in Public Administration from Arkansas State University and am currently a pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) from California Baptist University.

I am passionate about using the tools and resources that I've earned to give back to the most disadvantaged in the community. My vision protects the most vulnerable which includes our veterans, our youth, our senior citizens, and other issues our communities face. Utilizing technology, I intend to use the knowledge to leverage and bring power back to the people through education and communication channels unprecedented in current government administrations. In order to accomplish this mission, I need your endorsement and monetary support. Thank you for your time!

  • Develop economic activity attracting new industry to the region.
  • Protect the disadvantaged (homeless, seniors, veterans) from the state.
  • Exemplify leadership by not voting party lines, but voting for people, by the people.
Transportation and alternative energy are exciting fields. New power infrastructure which allows for people to be in control, limiting corporate influence and liability. Building ways for people to interact freely and be entertained through environmental design (reducing segmented development and increase collective development strategies to best serve the people).
John F. Kennedy was well liked and was a representation of the people. Unfortunately his life ended abruptly but solidified his legacy. I am a man of the people...open-minded and educated to have discussions.

Unmasking Administrative Evil - Guy Adams/Danny Balfour

Good to Great - Jim Collins
Serve the people and protect against overbearing policy that can adversely affect those in the district and beyond.
A person that fought for the rights of the people, made himself available to the people, and cared for the people.
Pizza delivery position held for a couple of years while attending high school/college.
Outwitting the Devil because it helps remove the mental barriers we place on ourselves and empowers, thus enabling the individual to empower others as well.
All perceived weakness is a limitation of the individual. Crab mentality and the comparison of people that have different talents is a challenge we face together to remove the barriers that divide and replace with common goals.
Experience should be acquired, but not necessary. Every person should have the ability to run and serve in the field they are passionate. As an individual seeking a doctoral degree and appointed to the Public Safety Commission for the City of Hesperia, I believe this has exposed the proper ability to represent the people.
Education, alternative energy, and transportation. As our population increases we need to ensure our children are being properly educated to deliver innovative ideas to government and the private sector. Transportation is already an issue traveling to dense populated areas and we need to bring innovation to alleviate these focal points.
An open relationship is best. Individuals can agree to disagree but maintaining a level of respect is pertinent to achieving results for the district.
Yes. Chambers should be situated to reduce party line politics and for others to get to know one another on a personal level.
Appropriations, Legislative Audit, Education, Veteran Affairs, Transportation, Public Safety
A woman was describing her journey from homelessness to her present management position at a local company. She understood the challenges that we face as our homelessness population increases. Mental health serves as a decent deterrent from entering a place of helplessness.

An elderly woman was being scammed by a person in Nigeria and being threatened with physical harm if she did not send money. I will ensure I am available to protect our most vulnerable.
