I'm Tony, a military veteran and an Independent running for Congress in PA's 7th District. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in History/Political Science and am currently working at ThermoFisher Scientific while applying for law school. I am an advocate for good mental health in society and fight for working class families, as well as our Veterans.
  • Medicare for All and a Society in Good Mental Health.
  • Commitment to Our Military Veterans.
  • Racial Justice, Women's Rights, and Equality for All.

I draw from many influences. One person I admire greatly is the late physicist Richard Feynman. He was a citizen-scientist who enjoyed life. He wasn't so hung up on what he wanted to be or where he would end up, but rather cared about what he wanted to do- whether it was doing physics/making discoveries about our natural world, or playing bongos. Richard Feynman also embodied what it meant to be human.
The ability to listen to the people who they represent. Honesty, straight-forwardness, accessibility. Leadership, which includes the ability to take ownership of situations.
Leadership, Communication, Team building, Conflict management, the ability to effectively listen and engage in constructive dialogue with people of all backgrounds.
Legacy is not important. I am happy to represent those who need representation during my term.
George H.W. Bush leaving the White House in his helicopter. I was 4 years old.
Laborer at Yost Hauling Services in Northampton, PA. I worked there from the time I was 13, off and on for seventeen years.
"Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk. Sorry, the first rule says I can't talk about it.
"Feels Like Summer" by Childish Gambino
Finding that one thing that gives life meaning, though there doesn't necessarily have to be that ONE thing. I always feel it in the idea of being a representative of the people, voted by the people, of all different political ideologies.
No particular process, however, I am against gerrymandering.
Representation through its diversity, range of ideas, and large body which ensures the limitation of power from the few. It is a vital entity for our Democracy (system of checks and balances).
Not necessarily. If it is a body consisting of the people, voted by the people, it is already suited or the job.
