Anthony Thibodeaux is the judge for the 16th Judicial District Division A in Louisiana. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a six-year term, commencing on January 1, 2015, and ending on December 31, 2020.[1][2]

Primary: He was elected in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Dean M. Wattigny.

Education

Thibodeaux received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern State University and his J.D. degree from the Southern University Law Center in 1989.[3]

Military service

Thibodeaux served in the U.S. Air Force from 1978 to 1982, and then he served in the Louisiana Army National Guard.[3]
