Expand all | Collapse all

Anthony is the grandson of an immigrant who fled communist Cuba to pursue the American Dream. He's also the CEO of one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the nation and sits on the Forbes Agency Council. Husband of 25 years and father of 5, Anthony believes it will take an outsider to restore California and reverse the government overreach that has created the biggest mass exodus out of the state in history.
  • Anthony is not a politician. He's a successful entrepreneur that believes in smaller government.
  • Anthony believes in protecting the Constitution.
  • Anthony reflects the diversity that exists in CA and is the manifestation of the American Dream.
Small business, medical freedom, school choice, punishing crime, protecting our 1A and 2A, lowering taxes and protecting our farmers and frontline workers.
Jesus. Anthony's faith is his foundation. He understands the religious diversity that exists within CA and doesn't believe in forcing his faith on others, especially in a public office. In fact, he is often quoted as saying:

"You don't need to be Christian to support my campaign, but you will want me to be."

That statement echoes his belief that when we serve a higher power than our own, we are less likely to make decisions that are self-seeking or corrupt in nature. The next governor of CA needs to operate from a place that isn't easily influenced by power, money or greed. Having strong moral values ensures he can be the governor for EVERY Californian.
As a successful entrepreneur, Anthony has spent the past 20 years working with some of the most innovative and beloved companies in the world. His ability to negotiate, create jobs, innovate and work with a diverse group of people has equipped him for the role of governor.
Anthony wants to leave his children a California that better reflects the American Dream his grandfather fled Cuba to pursue.
While there are too many to mention, Anthony often reflects on the day he lost his first-born son Christian and how God transformed a tragic situation into a story of redemption and resurrection.
His first job was in the family's metal finishing business which his grandfather started not long after he fled Cuba. Anthony had that job for 3 months before his father fired him and told him that he needed to find his own path in life. It was the best thing that could have happened because that forced him to start a small company of his own. That company is now one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America.
Clark Kent, his kids already call him Superman.
Anthony's biggest struggle is his lack of patience. He is a visionary that can see the end goal, but doesn't like to wait for the process to catch up.
CA is the 6th largest economy on the planet. Anthony believes we don't just need a governor, we need a CEO. As the top executive for a company with a global footprint, Anthony is no stranger to executing at the highest level. He feels uniquely qualified for the role and is looking to bring private sector ingenuity and innovation to public office in a way never before seen in CA.
Protecting the will of the people is priority number one for Anthony. Our government is disconnected from the people it serves. Anthony believes in people over politics. Principles over policy. He will ensure government overreach comes to an end as we usher in a new season of empowering people, parents and businesses.
As the new governor and CEO of California, Anthony intends on being heavily involved in setting budgets, renegotiating contracts, auditing spending and appointing an advisory committee to oversee, in a transparent and public way, the state budget.
Anthony would use veto power to ensure government wasn't acting in opposition to the will of the people. Often times legislators push bills that are in stark contrast to what is in the best interest of the people. The power of the pen is a tool that should be used sparingly, but quickly and intentionally when called for.
The ideal relationship is one where both parties are operating not in self-interest, but in serving the will of the people.
Anthony loves most the diversity that exists within its people, ideas and culture. Our state is a melting pot and best reflects what is best about America.
Anthony believes our greatest challenge is the assault on our freedom by an overreaching local government that seeks to divide us through the use of fear and the abuse of power.

We are more alike than different, but the divisive ideologies being taught in our schools coupled with the national narrative that uses party lines and ethic differences to divide won't allow us to see each other for who we truly are - God loving Americans.

What do you call a turtle with no head?

A headless turtle.

Anthony is a dad and loves telling dad jokes to his daughter.
We are witnessing the greatest abuse of emergency powers in the nation. These powers should be reserved for clear, justifiable reasons that serve the best interest of the public and should be limited in scope and duration.

Campaign website

Trimino's campaign website stated the following:

1 FREEDOM AND LIBERTY

Our inalienable rights, enshrined in the California Constitution, have been under attack from the very people duty-bound to defend them. As governor, my first priority will be to restore and protect our God-given freedoms to be a free-thinking people able to pursue life, liberty and happiness without the overreaching and unnecessary involvement of government.

2 FAITH

I believe faith is a verb. The Bible actually says that faith without works is dead. I believe it's time to awaken the righteous anger that has been dormant inside many of us for far too long. Government, the media and extreme voices on both sides of the aisle have exploited the differences between us instead of promoting the fundamental core beliefs we all share—that we are all born with God-given, inalienable rights. Rights that supersede government reach and intervention.

Our rights as parents, business owners and as a free people have come under attack. It's time to rise up and fight for our freedoms, our families and our communities.

3 FAMILY

I believe the home is where we begin to solve the vast majority of societal problems that exist today—especially around drug use, crime, over-populated prisons and our foster care system. Instead of promoting family, our government has structured assistance in such a way that it incentivizes broken homes, especially within minority communities. We need a family-first approach to policy in California. Our families are the pillars on which safe, secure communities are built.

4 EMPOWERING PARENTS

As a parent, I believe that decisions regarding your children's health and education should be made in the home, not by politicians. I will honor and support the sanctity of family and restrict the government's ability to trespass on your rights and liberties as parents.

5 EDUCATION

A continual decrease in investment in education and an outdated approach to teaching have made California "the least-educated state in America." This education gap should be considered a statewide emergency based on the long-lasting implications it has on our economy, communities and future generations.

I believe in a leadership-based approach to education that provides our young people with the fundamental building blocks of finance, investing, entrepreneurialism, formal writing, creativity, art, culture and health. I firmly believe that an educated society is the most powerful engine for meaningful change in the world, and I will work to transform California into the most educated state in America.

6 MEDICAL FREEDOM

As governor, I will oppose the overreaching policies implemented by the current administration. Grounded in science and data vs. fear and propaganda, I will reject vaccine passports across the state, which many see as simply another form of discrimination.

The job of government is to provide you with the information you need to make informed healthcare decisions for you and your family—not to overstep or force unjustified compliance.

7 REDUCING STATE TAX

Wasteful spending, failed projects and the mass exodus of large corporations and high-net-worth individuals have left our middle class unnecessarily burdened with picking up the tab through the most exorbitant and unfair state taxes in the nation. As governor, I will immediately reduce the tax burden imposed by previous administrations so that California families can finally keep, spend and invest more of their hard-earned dollars on what matters most to them.

8 ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY

States like Texas and Florida continue to lure our large manufacturing, automotive and tech companies away from California, along with the jobs and revenue they generate. I'll enact policies that cut regulations, empower sustainable growth, stop companies from fleeing and make California the most business-friendly state in America.

9 BUSINESS

I believe that all businesses are essential to the people they employ, the communities they support and the business owners they belong to. Our government should not have the overreaching authority to determine what size or type of business should be given special operating privileges over others. And they shouldn't be allowed to misuse that authority to threaten, intimidate, fine or incarcerate those that choose to operate as a means of survival.

I will stand with businesses to ensure that Sacramento is never given another opportunity to choke our local economy or punish our entrepreneurs. Under my administration, California will remain open for business.

10 HEALTH AND WELLNESS

The healthcare system is fundamentally broken. We focus on treating symptoms and diseases with little attention placed on prevention. I will use the power and platform of my office to educate, empower and encourage all Californians to better understand the importance of natural, holistic approaches to health and wellness.

11 HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS

Regulations and poor planning have stifled housing development, and policies addressing homelessness have failed due to weak local leadership and a lack of strategic collaboration. I'll work with community leaders, faith-based organizations and non-profits to scale already existing grassroot efforts across the state to deliver immediate, measurable and sustainable results for our growing homeless population.[3]
