Anthony V. Avallone

Anthony V. Avallone is a judge of the HartfordDistrict Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was nominated on March 14, 2014 by Governor Dannel P. Malloy.[2] He was confirmed by the Connecticut General Assembly and his term will expire in 2022.[3][4][5]
Education
Avallone earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from Suffolk University, School of Law.[2]
Career
Avallone is an attorney in private practice. He has also served as general counsel to the Manufacturing Alliance of Connecticut, Inc. since 1993. Between 1983 and 1993, he was a state senator in the Connecticut General Assembly. While in the senate, he chaired the judiciary committee, commerce and exportation committee and public safety committee.[2]
