Anthony Verwey
Anthony Verwey was a 2013 candidate for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He dropped out of the race before the general election.[1]
2013 election
Verwey ran for election to the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Primary: He received 29.5 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2013. He cross-filed as a Republican, but was defeated in that primary after receiving 7.0 percent of the vote.
He dropped out of the race over the summer, making the general election a three-candidate race between Jeffrey R. Sommer, Julia Malloy-Good and Patrick Carmody.
Education
Verwey earned his B.S. in administration of justice from the Pennsylvania State University in 1986 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1989.[6]
