Anthony Verwey was a 2013 candidate for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He dropped out of the race before the general election.[1]

2013 election

Verwey ran for election to the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Primary: He received 29.5 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2013. He cross-filed as a Republican, but was defeated in that primary after receiving 7.0 percent of the vote.

He dropped out of the race over the summer, making the general election a three-candidate race between Jeffrey R. Sommer, Julia Malloy-Good and Patrick Carmody

Verwey earned his B.S. in administration of justice from the Pennsylvania State University in 1986 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1989.[6]
