I am a fiscal, moral and social conservative that will fight for accountability and transparency.

I am requesting the honor of serving you as your next North Carolina State Auditor and I would greatly appreciate your support!

You can learn more about me at STREETFORNC.COM.
  • You deserve to know how and where your tax dollars are being spent!
  • I will fight for accountability and transparency!
  • I will make your Auditor's Office serve your needs!
As auditor one of the things that I will review very closely is how our local school boards are investing our tax dollars in education. A 2019 article in the Carolina Journal said there is a lack of accountability and transparency in how our local school boards spend the funds they receive from Raleigh.
Article 3, Section 7 of the North Carolina Constitution provides for this office. He/she responsible for serving as the watchdog of all spending done by the state of North Carolina. Thus it provides an opportunity for the office holder to fight for accountability and transparency!
I have always admired Ronald Reagan because of his stand for Christian and conservative morals and values.
Honesty, integrity and a desire to serve ALL of the citizens!
I am a very determined individual that NEVER stops working!
To serve as the watchdog of the public purse!
To fight for accountability and transparency in state government spending.
I would like to be remebered as fighting for Christian and Conservative morals and values.
My very first job was working in grocery stores all during high school.
The book of Luke in the Bible because it talks about the compassion and love of Christ from the view point of a physician.
I think it would be fun to be Indiana Jones, for a little while at least.
Being from a lesser developed area of the state I have had to overcome some economic challenges.
The State Auditor has the power to review the spending of all State Agencies. This enables the elected to address the citizens and the State Legislature and inform them of any and all discrepancies and problems that can be found.
I believe that prior government experience is definitely a benefit to serving in any state wide office. I am currently serving my second term on the Soil and Water Board in Brunswick County.
It would prove to be very helpful to have experience in business, budgeting economics and finance all of which I have.
