Antonio Guerrera is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 29 from 2001 to 2019.

Guerrera was a candidate who sought election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 9. Guerrera lost the primary on August 14, 2018.

Guerrera's professional experience includes working as the owner and founder of T and T Construction Company. He has previously served as a claims litigation specialist for the Aetna Mutual Company and Middlesex Mutual Company.

He was mayor of the City of Rocky Hill from 1999-2001 and was on the town council from 1997-1999.[1]

Elections for the Connecticut House of Representatives consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Antonio "Tony" Guerrera was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4]

On November 4, 2008, Guerrera won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 29th District, defeating Tomoyo Wakamatsu (Connecticut for Lieberman). Guerrera received 9,209 votes in the election while Wakamatsu received 882 votes.[9] Guerrera raised $10,261 for his campaign.[10]
