I am a wife mother, sister, neighbor, friend and citizen. I am a Registered Nurse, entrepreneur and business woman. I have a Master in Science and Administration from CU Health Sciences Center and a BS in Nursing. I am a resident of Boulder County since 1973.

I have enjoyed this beautiful state for many years hiking, cycling, skiing, hunting and fishing. I respect this environment and I have been a good steward of the land, and I want to preserve these mountain majesties for all future generations of Coloradans.

Formerly, I grew up in the heart land of Michigan a rural community where everyone knew each other and people worked hard on their farms and orchards. We enjoyed a simple life with my family and friends. This rural living is one of the great highlights of my upbringing. Learning to fish with my grandfather, sail a boat, and catch a snipe.

As my father became successful we moved to the city. Although it was a wonderful opportunity for our family we would go back to my grandparents cottage on the lake every chance we could. I think it is my love for the lakes, the mountains that will make me fight hard to preserve rural Colorado and it's culture. The farmers and ranchers, put food on our tables and gas in our cars and their work needs to be appreciated.

  • Our kids deserve better. Approximately 65% of children in Colorado do not read, write and calculate at grade level. It broke my heart as I was watching TV to see moms and dads being dragged out of the school board meetings in handcuffs, because they dared to object to what their children were being taught. These parents are not domestic terrorist! 72% of Americans believe we need to send children to their school of choice as opposed to the school they are assigned. 77% of UAF believe parents should be able to review school curriculum and have a Parent's Bill of Rights. In Colorado this year the Parent's Bill of Rights failed.
  • Safe Communities- Colorado needs to restore law and order. The incumbent for HD12 supported HB19-1263 the house. bill that decriminalized, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, meth and codeine (class II opioids). Possession of 4 G of these drugs were considered to be a misdemeanor. Colorado had the second highest overdose rate resulting in death in the country last year. Police need to be fully funded, the D.A. needs to prosecute these felons. I am sad that the criminals are going free, and the victims are no longer with us.
  • Make Colorado affordable. Colorado's inflation rate is higher than the national average. Running at ~9.1%. Many services, commodities are higher in Colorado than the country. Electricity inflation rate is 15.1%. How can Coloradans continue to pay these prices for food gas and utilities? The progressives have created so many regulations around rebuilding from the Marshal fire that it could cost an additional $77 K for all the green materials and electric docking stations necessary for approval. Re-victimizing these homeowners again.. This is unacceptable.
As a clinician with over 40 years of experience I was shocked by the incorrect and inappropriate response to the COViD 19 Pandemic by our Public Health Officials. Needless to say there is a lot to be learned from the mistakes made from modeling of the fatality rate to the people at risk , treatments, therapies etc...

I suggest we never again let unelected bureaucrats make such critical decisions that impact our liberty, right to work, right to a jury trial, ability to attend church, and be with a dying parent. We the sovereign can make those decisions for ourselves.
