Appointment of Maine's Governor's chief legal counel approved by state lawmakers

Maine: Patrick Ende, Governor John Baldacci's chief legal counsel, has received approval for his appointment by the governor as a District Court judge. Ende is expected to receive approval by the state Senate before it is fully confirmed. Before taking his job in the governor's office, Ende had served more than 20 years working in family law, criminal law, and mental health law with low income families and residents.[1]
