Function

The jurisdiction of this committee includes:

“ [M]atters pertaining to the executive budget and other appropriations of state monies; the levying of state and local taxes, including school taxes; property tax rates and assessments; the state debt; revenue bond projects; claims upon the treasury; accounting of state funds by local officers; audits for state purposes; budget and financial administration; payment, collection and refund of taxes.[2][3] ”
