Ariel A. Rodriguez is a former temporary justice for the New Jersey Supreme Court. He was appointed on September 4, 2012, and joined the court on a temporary basis on October 1, 2012.[1] On June 19, 2014, New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner issued an order announcing the end of Rodriguez's temporary assignment to the New Jersey Supreme Court and Rodriguez's retirement on September 1, 2014.[2][3]

Rodriguez was the presiding judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, Part G (temporarily assigned to Part H) prior to his temporary appointment to the Supreme Court. He was appointed to the appellate division on September 1, 1993 and was appointed presiding appellate judge on September 1, 2004.[4]

Rodriguez passed away on November 10, 2017.[5]

Education

Rodriguez earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and received his juris doctor from Rutgers School of Law-Camden.[4][6]

Career

Rodriguez was appointed to the New Jersey Superior Court on December 5, 1985. He was appointed to the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division on September 1, 1993.[4]
