I am a husband and a father to 4 amazing young kids. I am a military brat born in a small town in Iowa and raised across the country. I graduated from University of California with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics. My professional background is largely in cybersecurity with contracts serving many Fortune 500 companies across the country to help them secure and protect their modern enterprises. I'm a bit of nerd who likes to see the data behind decisions and who enjoys a good board game every know and again.
  • I will be a Senator who collaborates with all people regardless of political leaning to address the problems we all face. All people deserve to have their voice heard.
  • Putting more money back in your pocket is simply not enough. Unless we address the root causes of our skyrocketing expenses things will not change. I will work to legislate solutions that fight corporate greed, that ensure affordable access to water and energy, that makes it easier for families to rent or buy a home without breaking the bank, and that simply put the needs of people first.
  • Public education is critical for the future of our society. I will always be an advocate for students, parents, and teachers.
As a father of 4 young kids, everything I do is to build a better future for our kids. Education, conservation, protection of human rights, and promotion of economic and job growth are all areas we can improve to build a better future for our families.
Funding our essential public services, hiring and retaining teachers, and water scarcity will be our biggest challenges.
Compromise is absolutely necessary to address the needs of our diverse population. There will rarely be one solution that everyone agrees with and that benefits everyone. Compromise allows us to take steps and make progress towards solutions. I will be clear when it comes to fundamental human rights, compromise is not acceptable.
