Arizona House Bill 2649 was introduced by Rep. Michelle Ugenti (R-23) on February 11, 2015. It was approved in the state house and senate largely along party lines. It was given final approval in the senate on March 31, 2015, with 15 Republicans and three Democrats voting "yes" and 11 Democrats voting "no." The house gave final approval to the bill before the senate vote, on March 11, 2015, and, again, on April 2, 2015, after the senate's consideration of it. In the house, the final vote on the bill was 38-21, with 35 Republicans and two Democrats voting "yes," 21 Democrats voting "no" and one Republican legislator not voting.[1]

This bill amended campaign finance disclosure rules and definitions.[1]
