The ballot title for Measure Nos. 304-305 was as follows:

AN ACT RELATING TO EXCISE TAXATION AND IMPOSING AN EXCISE TAX FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TO BECOME EFFECTIVE IN THE EVENT THE ELECTORS SHALL APPROVE A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION ENTITLED "PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF ARIZONA BY WHICH IT IS PROPOSED TO ADD TO ARTICLE 11 THEREOF AN ADDITIONAL SECTION TO BE NUMBERED 11 RELATING TO MAINTENANCE OF KINDERGARTEN SCHOOLS, COMMON SCHOOLS AND HICH SCHOOLS."
