Arizona Measure Nos. 304-305 was on the ballot as a veto referendum in Arizona on October 3, 1933. It was approved.

A "yes" vote supported this referendum to:

  • create a state board of examiners to oversee the registration of medical professionals and
  • require the board to produce an exam on the "elementary principles of basic science" as taught at the state university or an accredited university, which applicants must pass to be registered.

AN ACT RELATING TO THE BASIC SCIENCES; DEFINING THE SAME AND CREATING A BOARD OF EXAMINERS THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR THE EXAMINATION AND REGISTRATION OF PRACTITIONERS OF THE HEALING ARTS; AND PROVIDING PENALITES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF.
