The ballot title for Measure Nos. 306-307 was as follows:

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE CALLING OF ELECTIONS IN A COUNTY, AN INCORPORATED CITY OR TOWN, A JUSTICE'S PRECINCT, A SCHOOL DISTRICT OR SUCH OTHER SUBDIVISION OF A COUNTY, INCORPORATED CITY OR TOWN AS MAY BE DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OR BY PETITION OF THE ELECTORS, TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS SHALL BE PROHIBITED IN SUCH COUNTY, INCORPORATED CITY OR TOWN OR SUBDIVISION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF CALLING, HOLDING, TIME AND PLACE OF SUCH ELECTIONS, WHO MAY VOTE, THE CANVASSING OF THE RETURNS AND FOR AN ORDER DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION AND THE EFFECT THEREOF AND FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THE ORDER: PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE ILLEGAL SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS IN A COUNTY, INCORPORATED CITY OR TOWN OR SUBDIVISION THEREOF WHICH HAS VOTED AGAINST SUCH SALE AND REPEALING ALL ACTS OR PARTS OF ACTS IN CONFLICT WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT.
