The ballot title for Measure Nos. 312-313 was as follows:
“ | AN ACT RELATING TO SOCIAL SECURITY AND PUBLIC WELFARE PROHIBITING LIENS OR CLAIMS AGAINST THE PROPERTY OR ESTATES OF RECIPIENTS OF OLD AGE ASSISTANCE; ABOLISHING LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY OF RELATIVES FOR THE SUPPORT OF PERSONS OTHERWISE ELIGIBLE FOR OLD AGE ASSISTANCE; PROHIBITING ACCEPTANCE OF EMPLOYMENT AS A CONDITION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR OLD AGE ASSISTANCE; PROVIDING A MINIMUM OF $75 PER MONTH FOR OLD AGE ASSISTANCE AND PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR; REPEALING ALL ACTS OR PARTS OF ACTS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND DECLARING THIS MEASURE TO BE SELF-EXECUTING AND SEVERABLE. | ” |
