The Arkansas Alcohol Tax Increase, Referred Act 285, also known as Referred Act 285, was on the ballot in Arkansas on November 2, 1954, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have increased taxes on alcohol.[1]
