The Arkansas Animal Cruelty Proposed Initiated Act, also known as Proposed Initiated Act 1, was on the ballot in Arkansas on November 5, 2002, as an initiated state statute. It was defeated. The measure would have made acts of aggravated animal cruelty class D felonies.[1][2]
