Arkansas Circuit Courts
The Arkansas Circuit Courts are trial courts of general jurisdiction in Arkansas.
Circuits
There are 28 Circuit Court districts in Arkansas. Circuit judges are elected to six-year terms. These courts deal with cases regarding:
- Criminal and civil jurisdiction

- Jury trials
- Guardianships.
- Equity
- Adoptions.
- Civil commitments
