The Governor to Fill Vacancies in Local Offices Amendment was on the September 1894 ballot in Arkansas as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure was later invalidated. It empowered the Arkansas Governor to fill vacancies in county and municipal government offices.[1]
