At the legislature, I will fight to continue to lowering your taxes, support our first responders and bring good paying jobs to our area.
If elected, I want to phase out the state income tax, continue to expand broadband internet availability and work to lower the retirement years for first responders.

Roy Vaughn (D)
Our military veterans deserve to have services that are easily accessible in every community across the state to include rural areas. Ensuring that our veterans are taken care of is one of my highest priorities.
Health care is fundamental to creating a vibrant workforce. Making healthcare more accessible in rural communities is of the utmost importance in Arkansas.

Gun Control- I support gun laws that require extensive back ground checks and a ban/ restrictions on who can purchase assault styled weapon systems.
Health Care- I believe healthcare is a fundamental right of all humans.
Living Wage- I believe that humans should be compensated a living wage. I understand that we have a minimum wage but in most cases it does not cover the cost of living. A living wage does just that ensures that humans can live.
School Choice, Charter schools, and Vouchers- I do not support charter schools, voucher programs or any other program that takes public money and puts it into the hands of the private sector. Public schools are the great equalizer and if we fund them correctly I believe that we will have a much better educated society.

My mom essentially raised me and my two sisters by herself. I got my work ethic from her and continue to try to make her proud every day. I was the first person in my family to get a college education and then one week later my mom got her's.
David Bazzel has been my professional mentor. He is a transplant to Arkansas and continues to give back to our community. I try to emulate everything I do both professionally and personally after the way that David has lived his life.
