The Arkansas Legislative Sessions Amendment was not on a 2016 election ballot in Arkansas as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment.
If approved, the measure would have reduced the number of days the general assembly is in session, repealed the fiscal session of the general assembly and provided that appropriations made by the general assembly not be for more than two years.[1]

Section 22, Article 19, of the Arkansas Constitution says that a majority vote is required in both houses of the Arkansas Legislature in order to send a measure to the ballot.
The Arkansas Legislature did not take action on the bill; therefore, the measure was not put on the ballot.
