The Arkansas Liquor Laws Act, also known as Initiated Act No. 1, was on the November 8, 1938 ballot in Arkansas as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have prohibited the manufacture or sale of alcohol within a three mile radius of churches and schools.[1][2]
