The Arkansas Notice Publication Amendment was not on a 2016 election ballot in Arkansas as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment.

If approved, the measure would have allowed the Arkansas General Assembly to determine the manner of publishing notices required by the constitution and repealed references to newspaper publication.[1]

Section 22, Article 19, of the Arkansas Constitution says that a majority vote is required in both houses of the Arkansas Legislature in order to send a measure to the ballot.

The Arkansas Legislature did not take action on the bill; therefore, the measure was not put on the ballot.
