The Arkansas Arkansas Poll Tax Exemption, Proposed Amendment 37, also known as Proposed Amendment 37, was on the November 7, 1944 ballot in Arkansas as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure exempted members of the armed forces from the poll tax.[1]
