The Arkansas Prohibition of State Ad Valorem Tax, Proposed Amendment 47 (1958), also known as Amendment 47, was on the ballot in Arkansas on November 4, 1958, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure prohibited the state's ad valorem tax.[1]
