The Arkansas Provide for the Board of Apportionment Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the 1936 ballot in Arkansas as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the Board of Apportionment to apportion representatives and senators. The Board consisted of the governor, secretary of state and attorney general.[1]
