The Arkansas Reduce State Property Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the 1932 ballot in Arkansas as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have reduced the state property tax to 1/2 a mill, and substituted a one percent sales tax.[1]
