The Arkansas School Tax Limitation, Proposed Amendment 43, also known as Amendment 43, was on the ballot in Arkansas on November 6, 1956, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have changed laws regarding school taxes.^[1]
