Arkansas ballot filing period ends

Arkansas: Candidate filing in Arkansas for the primary elections on May 18 have no closed, with no contested races for county positions. All candidates who filed for county positions, including judicial ones, will run without opposition, essentially making the primary election meaningless at the local level.[1]
